Privacy & Cookies Policy

Credit Card Information

For orders placed via the internet all credit card details are automatically processed directly with a secure outside provider. No members of staff have access to any of your card details, the only information we have regarding your card is that it has been accepted or declined by the Bank. This ensures the maximum security an online supplier can give to the customer.

 

Names / Addresses

Customers details are not sent to any third party (Market research etc). 

The only exception to this is: 

If the goods are sent directly to the customer from the manufacturer

The names and addresses of customers are kept on our computers only for the purpose of guarantees / future sales etc.

Cookies

When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, computer or mobile phone. These include small files known as cookies. They cannot be used to identify you personally.

These pieces of information are used to improve services for you through, for example:

  • enabling a service to recognise your device so you don’t have to give the same information several times during one task
  • recognising that you may already have given a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested
  • measuring how many people are using services, so they can be made easier to use and there’s enough capacity to ensure they are fast

The only cookies we use are....

ekm_USERNAME – Temporary cookie generated to test if cookies are enabled on the visitor’s browser.

ekm_pp_USERNAME – Stores a unique reference to visitors cart contents. Stores authentication details for customer logged in section.

ekm_tmp_ORDERNUMBER – Stores a reference to the visitors order number after an order has been generated.

 

… all these cookies are ESSENTIAL and so are totally compliant with the cookie law.

Prices
The prices are indicated on the website and are exclusive of  VAT,


Availability of Goods
Non personalised items are normally std stock items and are available for despatch within 24 hours . If for any reason we are unable to despatch the goods we will contact you to inform you of the stock status. You have the right to cancel your order should any delay be unnacceptable.

Apart from offering a full refund we will not accept any further claims for compensation arising from any losses you may incur as a result of the goods not being available or ready for immediate despatch.

Delivery Charges
The prices shown exclude carriage costs, these are clearly shown on the shopping cart when ordering the goods, if in doubt please telephone us for confirmation.

Non delivery of items
Any orders that have become lost through transit will be resent or refunded after 2 weeks have elapsed (UK only), for items lost abroad allow 3 weeks from the date of despatch.

Most deliveries by courier (UK Mainland) are delivered next working day, for goods sent throughout Europe the std delivery time is 3 to 5 days. Please note these are not guaranteed delivery times, we will not be liable for any losses, costs or charges caused by any delay in the delivery of the goods.

Please inform us within 14 days (21 Days for Europe) from the date of order if the goods have not arrived, claims for non delivery of goods cannot be entertained after these dates. 
We are unable to accept responsibility for non receipt of goods once delivered to the correct address and signed for.

Cancelling Order
Orders for non personalised items  can be cancelled at any time prior to despatch, once the goods have been despatched the return of the products will be at your own expense. 

Accepting Delivery
When accepting delivery of the goods you are responsible for checking them for damage. Any such claims for damaged goods should be telephoned/emailed to us within 7 days. The goods will not be left without a signature.  Any damaged goods must be noted on the courier consignment note at the time of delivery.

Returns Policy
Goods as ordered
A refund for non personalised items will be given for all goods returned within 14 days from receipt, if for any reason you are unable to return the goods within this time, we will issue a refund provided you have contacted us by letter / Telephone or email within the 14 days.

A full refund will be given for the cost of the goods but will exclude the delivery charges, the goods returned must be intact, undamaged and suitable for resale. 
Any goods returned to us from outside the EU will be subject to a delay in processing the refund of up to 3 weeks, this is to allow for incorrect labelling from the sender which can result in charges payable by Townsend Design And Print for import duties imposed by the courier. Any import duties will be deducted from the refund. 

Faulty Returns
We will refund (In full) or exchange any goods which are faulty/damaged  providing we have been notified within 14 days as above.

Faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse will not receive any refund or exchange.

Personalised items

Proofs will be sent to customers for personalised items and ALL DETAILS must be checked, including spellings, numbers etc before approving to print.  We will not accept responsibility for any spelling errors or similar after a proof has been approved and the job printed.



This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.
